“Learn to get in touch with the silence within yourself, and know that everything in life has purpose. There are no mistakes, no coincidences, all events are blessings given to us to learn from.”—Elisabeth Kubler-Ross
When you look back at your challenges and obstacles, can you see the opportunities you’ve had to learn?
Whatever you are going through in life, it is for a reason. It can become so easy to beat yourself up over mistakes you’ve made. But when you do that, you run the risk of living in the past rather than loving the present and building an amazing future. You could stay stuck for years, wasting precious time and energy on a failure you’ve experienced. Concentrating on the why can be a distraction that keeps you from moving past tough circumstances. If you alter your perspective and see the challenges as opportunities, you can go from feeling like a victim to feeling like a victor.
Every mistake is a chance to learn and failures are often just lessons in disguise. Think of those events as an opportunity to build awareness and gain experience. It is these experiences that help you become the person you want to be.
